The SBGA375 features a case that modernizes that iconic design, paired with a dial in lustrous midnight blue that radiates a powerful brilliance. The watch is powered by the Spring Drive Calibre 9R65, an automatic movement with a power reserve indicator and a maximum power reserve of approximately 72 hours (about three days) when fully wound.

A case that modernizes the iconic 44GS, a milestone in Grand Seiko’s design history
The 44GS established Grand Seiko’s unique design language, known as the Grand Seiko Style. This design language, which later spread throughout the brand, continues to influence nearly all Grand Seiko creations today and remains a core element of its identity. This model inherits the original design of the 44GS and evolves it into a more three-dimensional form to accommodate movements with various functions. Its finely connected surfaces are finished with Zaratsu polishing, resulting in distortion-free, mirror-like planes. These surfaces capture light from every angle, creating a multifaceted brilliance that shifts with the viewer’s perspective.
A blue dial that embodies the essential face of the brand
This dial design represents the fundamental expression of how light should interact with the dial, as defined by the Grand Seiko Style. The index at 12 o’clock is twice as wide as the others, and the indexes and hands are multi-faceted and set on a flat dial surface. Even in the middle of the night, the dial captures even the faintest light, never ceasing to shine. The dial colour is midnight blue, chosen to complement this highly legible design. A sunray pattern radiates from the centre, sending delicate rays of light outward and creating a rich, expressive brilliance.
